Starting with Revit 2027.2, Autodesk Assistant in Revit can receive targeted updates independently of the broader Revit release cycle. This enables us to deliver new Assistant capabilities and address important issues more quickly, without waiting for the next Revit release.
For this initial release, targeted Autodesk Assistant updates will be applied automatically. Controls for managing automatic updates are planned for a future release.
This update of Autodesk Assistant in Revit includes:
- Expanded schedule editing: Autodesk Assistant can now remove schedule filters, grouping, and sorting, expanding on its existing schedule editing capabilities.
- Improved unit handling: Fixed an issue where Autodesk Assistant could report results using the incorrect unit system for certain models.
- Improved Visual Graphics reliability: Fixed an issue where Autodesk Assistant could confirm that a transparency change had been applied when the change had not actually occurred.

- Work with an updated Assistant palette featuring:
- A clearer response layout
- A table of contents for managing conversations
- More helpful guidance
- Timestamped responses
These enhancements make it easier to interact with Revit using natural language while providing a more intuitive Assistant experience.

- Enhanced tool accuracy ensures more consistent behavior when coloring elements, tagging elements, and applying schedule filters. Family edits are now safer, with checks in place to prevent unintended model‑wide changes.
- All Assistant actions are fully traceable: runs are logged in the Revit journal, and AI‑driven changes are clearly labeled in the Undo menu. Users can also interrupt Assistant interactions more easily with a new Stop button.
- In addition, the Prompt Library now supports sorting, making it faster to find and reuse helpful prompts.
