After adding a tag to a view, you can change its leader line in several ways.
| If you want to... | Then... |

| change the length of the leader | select the tag, then use the cross-shaped drag control to move the tag. |
| change the start or end points of the leader | select the leader and in the Properties palette, set the Leader Start and/or the Leader End to "Free" and manually position the start or end point of the leader.
Both free leader options feature the same behavior; they will move together with the host element or tag, but the leader position will otherwise be fixed. Note: Leader start and end positioning may be affected by Leader Outline and Leader Snap Reference parameters enabled in geometry of the tag family. Edit the tag family to change these parameters.

| add a multi leader tag | select a tag placement command in the ribbon and click Modify | Tag tab Tag panel
(Multi Leader Tag). Once this option is enabled, you can select multiple references to be tagged. Press Enter to finish.

| edit a multi leader tag to add or remove references | select the leader and click Modify | <Element> Tags tab Host panel
(Edit Tag).
Note: The Edit Tag command opens an edit mode where you can add or remove references. Click Finish to save and exit the edit mode, or Cancel to discard your changes and exist the edit mode.
