Adjust the Rebar Cover for a Host

You can edit the rebar cover of either the entire element or a particular face while working with rebar and its host.

While using the rebar cover tools, determine the existing rebar cover settings by hovering your mouse over either an individual face or the entire element.

1. Click Concrete tabReinforcement panel (Cover).
2. In Modify | Edit Rebar Cover, click Pick Elements to pick an entire element or click Pick Faces to pick a singular face of an element.
3. Select the element or element face you want to modify.
4. In the Modify | Edit Rebar Cover Settings panel, select a cover setting from the Cover Settings drop-down.
5. (Optional) To create other settings, click Edit Settings in the Settings panel or Concrete tab Settings panel Cover Settings.
6. Add or select an existing cover type in the dialog.
7. Adjust the description of the cover type and the offset distance for the cover type. You can add, duplicate, and delete cover settings from this dialog as needed.
