Set Thin Client options for a user or group. You can set read-only access, choose which workspaces show, and filter the files and items.
Select Tools > Administration > Global Settings.
In the Global Settings dialog box, select the Security tab, and then click Manage Access.
In the User and Group Management dialog box, select the Users tab or the Groups tab. Select a user or group, and then open the Configure Thin Client Access dialog box.
Under Thin Client, set Read-only access. This controls whether the user can edit content.
Under Visible workspaces, choose which workspaces the user can see:
Under Files Workspace Filters, choose which files show in the Files workspace:
Under Items Workspace Filters, choose which items show in the Items workspace:
Set each option to Inherit, Yes, or No. Inherit uses the value from the parent group or the global setting.
Click OK.
When a user signs in to the Thin Client, they return to the root of the last workspace they visited. If there is no last-visited workspace, they land on the default workspace allowed by their access. The default follows the priority order Files, then Items, then Change Orders. For example, a user without Files access who has Items and Change Orders access lands on the Items workspace.
When a user signs back in, the Thin Client returns them to the page they were viewing before they signed out.
