Enable the Vault Connector in ADMS Console before you configure Forma Data Management folder mappings or sync files to Forma. The same Vault Connector service supports Fusion Manage and Forma Data Management.
Before enabling the connector, verify that you have a service account with a Vault Professional license, access to all Vaults on the server that will sync, and permissions for the target Forma hub and project.
Licensing: The Vault Connector Agent checks out a license while it runs. It releases the license when it stops. The service account can use a user or network license. If it uses a network license, enter the license server address in ADMS Console. For more information, see Vault licensing.
Open the ADMS Console and navigate to global settings:
On the ADMS Console, go to Tools > Administration.
Access the Vault Connector Settings:
Click the Network Settings tab in the global settings dialog box
Click Configure under the Vault Connector Settings section
The Vault Connector Settings dialog box displays.
Enable the connector and sign in with the service account:
Select Enable Vault Connector For Forma Data Management
Under Connection Setting, click Sign In
A standard Autodesk SSO sign-in dialog displays.
Enter the service account credentials:
Enter the service account email address and password
Click Sign In to authenticate
The service account credentials are validated and stored.
Save the settings:
Click Apply to save the settings
Click OK to exit the dialog box
The Vault Connector Agent starts. Check ADMS Console logs for the Agent startup message.
Verify the connector is running:
Confirm the Vault Connector Agent has started in ADMS Console logs.
After you enable the Vault Connector, configure Forma folder mappings in the Vault client. See Configure folder mappings for Forma.
