Control which file attachments synchronize from Vault to Forma Data Management when you sync files or folders. You can include design representations, visualizations, and files that match specific file extensions.
Before configuring attachments, enable the Vault Connector and select the mapped folders you want to configure.
Open Vault Connector Management:
Go to Tools > Administration > Vault Settings, click the Collaborate tab, then click Configure under Vault Connector Management.
Select mapped folders:
On the Forma Data Management tab, select the folder mapping rows to configure.
Open the Attachments tab:
Click the Attachments tab.
Configure attachment types:
Under Attachments, select the attachment types to include:
Design representation attachments: Syncs derived design file representations
Design visualization attachments: Syncs visualization files
Custom: Syncs files that match the file extensions you select
To use Custom, clear both Design representation attachments and Design visualization attachments first.
(Optional) Configure file extension filters:
When Custom is selected:
Save the configuration:
Click Apply, then click OK.
The Vault Connector includes the specified attachments during sync to Forma for the selected folder mappings.
