Adding a Special Character from the Windows® Character Map®

  1. Access the Windows Character Map dialog by doing one of the following:

    • On Windows 7, click the Start button.
    • On Windows 8, right-click the Start screenAll apps.
  2. Click Run.
  3. In the Run dialog, enter charmap, and click OK.
  4. In the Character Map dialog, select a character, and click Select.
    Note: If the font for characters doesn’t match the font of the text note, the selected characters may not display as expected in the note.
  5. Click Copy.
  6. In Vasari, select a text note, and click in the text box.
  7. Click Modify | Text Notes tabClipboard panel (Paste), or press Ctrl+V.

    The special character displays in the text box.
