Exporting to STL

You can export Vasari models to stereolithography (STL) file format using the STL Export tool.

1. On the Add-Ins tab, click External panelExternal Tools drop-downSTL Export. In the Export STL dialog, choose Binary or ASCII for the STL format.
2. Click the Categories tab.
   Note: Because Vasari does not support linked models, the Include Linked Models option cannot be used.
3. In the Categories tab, specify the desired element categories, and then click Save.

The graphics generated are based on the current view. If the current view is a floorplan, the result is 3D geometry based on the View Range setting. The geometry also respects the Visibility/Graphics and Hidden Element settings for the current view.
