Changing the Family Type of an Element

To change the family type of an element in the drawing area of a project, do one of the following:

• Select the element and change the family type using the GUID-A764EA7A-FE26-469B-857C-F3A70812FC34.htm#WS1A9193826455F5FF219F8B8B1249CF2CB82-5A0A.
• Change the family type using the Match Type Properties tool. See Changing Element Types Using the Match Type Tool.
