You can change the tick mark that displays at the ends of the dimension line.
- In the drawing area, select a dimension.
- On the Properties palette, click
(Edit Type). - In the Type Properties dialog, under Graphics, select a value for Tick Mark, and then click OK.

Refer to Specifying Arrowhead Styles for information on how to create a custom arrowhead type which will then be available as a choice for the Tick Mark property.
