Select a zone in the Grading Objects Browser or in the Visualisation Display to open this properties panel. Use this dialog to modify the constraints for individual zones. This includes car parks.
Specifies the display name of the zone.
Select from one of the following slope constraint options for the zone.
Use Global Constraints. Specifies that the Global Constraints specified in the Optimisation Options dialog should apply to the zone. Click Change Global Settings to open the Optimisation Options dialog.
Customise Slope Constraints. Enables slope constraint properties for the zone. When selected, you can edit slope constraint properties for the zone.
Max Slope. Specifies a maximum slope optimisation constraint for the zone.
Min Drain Slope. Specifies the minimum drainage slope for the zone. For optimisation, the zone must have an internal or external drain element or a specified Minimum Drain Inclination.
No Slope Constraints. Disables slope constraints for the zone. The minimum drainage slope is then zero and the maximum slope is infinity. When selected, the slope constraints cannot be edited.
Specifies that surface geometry aligns along a flat or asymmetrical plane dependant on the slope and drainage properties of the zone. The direction of this resulting sloped plane is defined by the Inclination Direction property.
When enabled, the zone will only recognise drain lines and low points within the zone. Drain elements outside the zone do not influence the contents of the zone, however, surface triangles outside of the zone are affected by the internal drain elements.
When enabled, drainage objects within the zone will not influence the drainage of other zones.
Specifies that every triangle on the surface has a minimum required inclination into a given angle as defined by the Inclination Direction property.
Specifies the direction of the Minimum Drain Inclination. In determining a direction: 0 is east; 90 is north; 180 is west; and 270 is south.
When working in the source drawing, click to use the Inclination Picker tool and click in the intended direction for the Minimum Drain Inclination.
Represents a depth of materials that should not be considered with the cut and fill data.
When enabled, the zone segments work to create a consistent slope along the line.
Specified surface triangles along the boundary are fixed to their original levels so grading does not occur outside of the zone.
Specifies the following global Objective Weights defined in the Optimisation Options dialog should apply to the zone. Deselect a constraint to exclude it from optimisation.
Balance Cut and Fill. A specified weight with which to minimise the difference between total cut and total fill.
Minimise Earthwork. A specified weight with which to minimise the total amount of earthwork (the sum of total cut and total fill).
Smooth Surface. A specified weight with which to minimise the gradient change between adjacent triangles on the surface.
Specifies the colour of the representative point, line segments or areas of the grading object in the visualisation display.
Enables the grading object to be included in the optimisation. When unselected, it is ignored.
Enables the grading object to be seen in the visualisation display. When unselected, it is hidden but still active.
