Flow Render Texture Baking submits texture baking jobs to the Flow Render cloud service. Open the window from Arnold > Flow Render > Texture Baking in the Arnold menu.
A descriptive name for the bake job as it appears in the Flow Render queue. Supports tokens such as $prj for the current project name.
Lists the objects selected for baking. You can drag and drop your objects from the Object Tree.
Assigns a different material to the baked objects, overriding the material currently assigned in the scene.
Specifies the UV set to use for baking. When empty (by default), the native UV coordinates are used.
Lists the AOVs to bake. Defaults to beauty. Use + and - to add or remove AOVs.
When enabled, bakes materials assigned to polygon selections. Otherwise ignores polygon selections, and bakes only the base material.
The size of the image rendered to a texture map.
The file format for baked texture outputs (for example, EXR).
Anti-aliasing quality used when rendering to a texture. See Arnold Render Settings — Samples for more information.
Sets the UV coordinate offset for the bake region.
Sets the scale of the UV bake region.
Controls the distance by which rays are offset from the surface to avoid self-intersection artifacts during baking.
When enabled, extends texture colors at UV island edges to reduce seam artifacts. Only 32-bit linear output is supported. It isn't supported if the driver is in "tiled" mode.
Allows you to bake UDIM tiles.
Choose which UDIM tiles to bake.
1001,1002,1011,1023.Allows you to bake animated textures. Default is the frame range defined in the selected render settings. You can render the current frame, all frames, the preview range defined in the timeline or a custom frame or frame range.
Enable automatically downloading render outputs to the specified folder, assuming Cinema 4D is still running when the job is finished.
You can use some specific tokens in the path, besides the standard Cinema 4D tokens:
$prjdir: The project root directory, where the .c4d project file is located.$prjsavedir: The project Save directory defined in the render settings.$prjmultipasssavedir: The project Multi-Pass Save directory defined in the render settings. Using the same folder for local renders and download (for example, $prjsavedir) is not recommended, because then Flow Render downloads silently overwrite your local renders.
Forces re-upload of scene files, even if they were uploaded previously. Use this if the render fails due to missing assets, or when you suspect the local resource cache no longer reflects the true state of the server (for example, after working on a different machine, or after a long time since the last submission).
