To Work with Autodesk® Rendering in 3ds Max

Before You Start

Before rendering your scene in Autodesk® Rendering, you should prepare lighting, materials, and other settings as described here.

Cameras
Create at least one camera view that you want to render. Autodesk® Rendering requires you to choose a camera view.
Lights and Materials
Autodesk® Rendering supports only certain lights and materials. For details, see FAQ for Autodesk® Rendering in 3ds Max.
Minimize the time for uploading and rendering
Consider saving a copy of your scene that contains only the objects to be rendered.
