Blocks

Blocks are compound objects that are combined to create a single object. Blocks are useful when you want to insert multiple instances of the same object, and are especially useful because you can modify the characteristics of many block references at once, simply by modifying the block definition.

To insert a block:

1. Open the Blocks palette.

2. Tap a block to insert.
3. Specify the insertion point of the block.
