External References Manager
Xrefs (DWG files that are referenced within a drawing) and some other external references, such as images, can be displayed.
References will resolve in a drawing if they are stored in the same folder as the parent drawing, or if the path is defined.
To resolve a missing external reference or replace an existing reference
- Open the Xrefs palette
- Tap a reference from the list.
- Choose a file from the file manager.
Viewable image types
In addition to DWGfiles, the following image types can display as external references:
.JPG, .JPEG .PNG .GIF .BMP
