Layers

You can view and manage layers in the Layers panel.

To turn a layer on or off

With the Layers panel active, click the light bulb icon to the right of the layer name.

To change the color of a layer

With the Layers panel active, click the color icon to the right of the layer and choose a color from the palette.

You can choose from the colors that are already in the drawing, or from the colors available in the AutoCAD color index.

To create a new layer

Click Create new below the list of layers.

To lock a layer

Click the lock icon to the right of the layer name.
