Cloud Storage Providers
You can view, edit, and save drawings that are stored on the following cloud storage providers:
- Autodesk Drive
- Autodesk Docs
- Box
- Dropbox
- Google Drive
- Microsoft OneDrive
You can connect to these cloud storage providers so that files stored with these providers are accessible directly from the AutoCAD web app.
To connect to a cloud storage provider
- While on the AutoCAD web app home screen, click +Add storage provider on the left menu.
- Choose a storage provider and click Add.
- Sign in using your account credentials for the cloud storage provider.
You may need to grant permission for AutoCAD to access your cloud storage provider's files.
Once connected, you can access files from the storage provider by clicking the cloud storage provider's name on the left menu.
Note: You can add multiple accounts from a single cloud storage provider by repeating the above steps, then adding a different email address when you sign in.
To disconnect a cloud storage provider
- While on the AutoCAD web home screen, click the cloud storage provider on the left menu.
- In the top right, click the account.
- Click Disconnect.
Note: When you disconnect a cloud storage provider, that provider will no longer display in your list of files. However, to fully disconnect AutoCAD from the cloud storage provider, you may still need to go to the provider's website to remove AutoCAD as a connected application. For more information about how to disconnect applications from cloud storage providers, check the cloud storage provider's website and support pages.

To open a drawing from a cloud storage provider's website
Choose a file from your cloud storage provider's file list and select Open in AutoCAD (web app). This will launch the AutoCAD web app.
Note: You'll need to sign in to your Autodesk account and grant AutoCAD permission to access your storage provider's files.
Shared drawings
You can share drawings from the cloud storage provider's site.
Note: All shared drawings are view-only for the recipient. Although they won't be able to edit drawings, any recipient with an Autodesk account can view shared drawings, even if they don't have an AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT subscription.
Working with Xrefs
Xrefs will only resolve if they are stored in the same folder as their parent drawing.
