About Account Administration and Project Administration

Project administrators can invite, edit, and remove project members.

BIM 360 has two levels of administration to ensure security and control across your projects:

Account Administration

The account administrator creates and edits projects used across all BIM 360 web services. They have broad privileges, including the following:

BIM 360 Field Project Administration

Companies with multiple projects can delegate responsibility for securely managing users and access on a project-by-project basis. As a project administrator, you can manage only those projects that you have access to. One project can have several administrators.

Project administrators can copy an existing BIM 360 Field project to set up their project and invite other project administrators to the project. They can see all information related to their project, but not information about other projects.

Note: Project administrators cannot create projects. The account administrator must first create the project and designate you as a project administrator.

The following table shows allowed and denied privileges for project administrators.
