FAQ: I have the latest version of Internet Explorer, but pushpins still don't work

Stop running Internet Explorer in compatibility mode.

Internet Explorer version 9 and later supports pushpin functionality. If pushpins are not working, perhaps your browser or BIM 360 Field is running in compatibility mode.

Internet Explorer

  1. From the browser, click Tools > F12 Developer Tools.
  2. Click Browser Mode. You need Internet Explorer 9 or later to use pushpins and pushpin markup tools. (Internet Explorer 9 Compatibility View does not work.)
  3. To change the setting, click the Internet Explorer 9 option, and then close.
Note: If pushpins still don't work, check that BIM 360 Field isn't running in compatibility mode.

BIM 360 Field

  1. From the Internet Explorer browser, Click Tools > Compatibility View Settings.
  2. In the Compatibility View Settings window, select the BIM 360 Field link and click Remove.
