To Work with Point Sets

Create, manage and share point sets using the BIM 360 Layout web service.

Create Point Sets

1. In the BIM 360 Glue Layout web service, open a model containing points.
   Note: Points can be added to models using Autodesk^® Revit, AutoCAD or Navisworks.
2. In the BIM 360 toolbar, click Layout Create Set.
3. Use the Point Number slide bar to filter points or use the filter fields to select criteria Search.

   Search results are displayed.

4. To save the search as a set, enter a Name and Description Add Set.

Send Notifications

1. In the Layout module, check one or more point sets.
2. Click Notify.
3. In the Notify Project Members dialog, select team members and click Send.

Edit a Set

1. In the Layout module, hover a point set.
2. Click the down arrow Edit.
3. Select new filter criteria Search.
4. Change the Name or Description if desired Save.

Sort Sets

1. In the Layout module, click the sort drop-down and select a sort order.
