You can create and share links to design markups with project members.
Create
- Open a merged model.
- Navigate to the desired view.
- In the BIM 360 toolbar, click Markups.
- (Optional) Create and organize new folders to manage markups. In the Markups module, select Add Folder and name the new folder.
Note: Organize your folders in different markup stages. For example, Open, Resolved, and Closed.
- Create a markup. In the BIM 360 module, click Add. Use the Rectangle, Circle, Freehand, or Text tools to create markups and annotations.
- (Optional) Use the Color drop-down menu to change the color of new markups to differentiate between markups for different trades.
- Click Save.
If the view has been previously saved, the markups are associated with the existing view. If the markup has not been saved, a new view is saved, along with the markups associated with that view.
When you add to a markup view, the markup history is displayed. You can select an item in the markup history (indicated by creator and timestamp) to hide or show the corresponding markup in the model. In this way, you can track the revision history as the team responds and adds additional markups.
