Troubleshooting

There are a couple things you can do to get more information about the process so we can help you debug further. You can keep a detailed log file of what LA/R does in a text file. See Creating Log File for more information. You can also use Fiddler to log the web activity by LA/R. The Fiddler log will provide information about your internet connection/traffic that may be of use. Here's how to do that:

  1. Install fiddler from here: http://www.fiddler2.com/fiddler2/.
  2. Start fiddler. At the top is a button labeled "Any Process" click and drag that to the title bar of the Revit application. The button will switch to something like Revit:NNNN.
  3. Then in Revit, try the RDA analysis. Fiddler will automatically capture all internet traffic from Revit.
  4. When the analysis is done or fails in Revit go back to Fiddler. Click File Save. Save everything with the defaults and send the file to LAR.Feedback@autodesk.com .
