The advanced RFI settings allow you to control specific functionality of the RFI workflow. Available settings include the ability to:
When this setting is turned on and an RFI manager or project administrator is reopening an RFI, they can choose to create a revision by checking the box and assigning the RFI a new ID.
When this setting is turned off, visibility of closed RFIs is limited to project administrators, RFI managers, and individuals involved with the RFI.
When this setting is turned off, visibility of open RFIs is limited to project administrators, RFI managers, and individuals involved with the RFI.
When this setting is turned on, RFI Managers and administrators can edit the official response text and add or remove attachments when closing or distributing the RFI.
When this setting is turned off, RFI Managers and administrators can only select an official response from one of the previously provided responses to the RFI. They cannot add or remove attachments to the RFI.
When you enable this setting, everyone involved in the RFI process, including project members and external users (who are assigned as email addresses), will receive direct links to the RFI detail reports in their email notifications. This feature makes it easier for all parties to access the relevant information without having to navigate through the platform.
The RFI detail report links will be included in all email notifications, except for those related to comments. These links will provide access to the following sections:
To keep the reports focused on the most essential information, the Activity Log and Comments sections will not be included in the linked reports.
The RFI detail report links will remain active for 30 days after they are sent. After this period, the links will expire, and users will need to access the reports directly through the platform.
