Establish Bridge Connections for RFI Sharing
You can share closed native RFIs between projects that are connected through Bridge. Before you share RFIs, check that you meet these requirements.
User permissions
- Only project administrators and users with RFI Manager permission can share RFIs between projects.
- You have access to both the source and target projects.
RFI status requirements
- The RFIs you want to share must be in Closed status.
- RFIs in Draft, Open, or Answered status can't be shared through Bridge.
Bridge connection status
- Projects have an active Bridge connection.
- Both project administrators have accepted the Bridge invitation.
For more information about RFI permissions, see RFI Permissions.
To connect your projects through Bridge:
- Open Bridge.
- Choose Bridge a new project.
- Enter a name, email, or company for a project administrator in the other project you want to bridge to. You must choose a project administrator, because only an administrator can accept this invitation and create the bridge.
- Choose the invitee.
- Choose Send invitation to bridge a project. Bridge emails the invitation, and it expires in seven days.
- In the email notification that the invitee receives, choose Choose your project to bridge.
- Autodesk Forma opens in the browser so the invitee can choose a project to bridge.
- Choose Bridge projects.
