Enter Specification Details

The third step in the publishing process allows you to choose a specification format and specify project location.

1. Select a format for your specification upload from the drop-down menu. The format can be one of the following:

• CAWS
• CSI MasterFormat
• Uniclass
• Other / Unknown

2. Select a location for your project from the drop-down menu.

3. Click Next to review to advance to the next step where you'll be able to review and organize your specifications.

Format-specific considerations:

• The CSI MasterFormat is typically used for projects in North America
• The CAWS and Uniclass formats are typically used in Europe
• Sections in specifications using formats other than CAWS, CSI MasterFormat, and Uniclass do not need to have codes assigned to them. They can be identified by descriptions only.
