A Ridge Line is a reference line that acts as a directional constraint for drainage. Drainage moves away from a ridge.
Right-click the Ridge Line tool in the Grading Object Tool palette and select Properties to access the Ridge Line Tool Properties dialog. Use this dialog to define the default constraints for the ridge line tool.
Displays the icon representing the grading object. Right-click the icon and choose Select Image to change the icon for both Light and Dark themes.

When enabled, the ridge line works to create a consistent ridge along the line.
