Overview
Important: Version 16.x changed the way that long paths are handled in the Autodesk Docs connector. Refer to
Long Path Workflows for additional information.
Docs Connector
On initial project selection the file and folder structure will be created even if there are long paths in the cloud data source.
Download a long path file from the cloud by opening it or selecting Always keep on this device from the right-click shortcut menu.
Cloud to Connector
The following actions in the cloud data source will sync to your local connector even with long paths:
- Create folders.
- Add files.
- Delete files.
- Delete folders.
- Move files.
- Move folders.
- Rename folders.
- Rename files.
Connector to Cloud
Create a file in your local connector will still sync to the cloud data source if it's created by:
- Menu.
- Copy and paste from inside or outside the connector.
- Drag copy from inside or outside the connector.
- Move files and folders within the connector.
- Copy a folder to the connector that only contains files (no nested folders).
- Move a folder to the connector with nested folders.
