Access a BIM Collaborate Pro Trial
The BIM Collaborate Pro trial allows you to try out the following features:
- Autodesk Docs
- Design Collaboration and Model Coordination
- Insight
- Account Admin and Project Admin
- Autodesk Collaboration for Civil 3D
- Autodesk Collaboration for AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Revit Cloud Worksharing
Note: The BIM Collaborate Pro trial requires Revit 2018.3 or later, Civil 3D 2020.5.1 or later, and Plant 3D 2021 or later.
The free trials offer you the ability to:
- Co-author Revit models with internal and external teams.
- Control project permissions at the user, role, and folder levels.
- Curate and exchange deliverables while tracking design progress in a project timeline.
- Visualize changes on single artifacts, 2D sheets, and aggregated models in your browser.
- Assign and manage issues on your personal computer and mobile devices.
Note: There's a 250-person limit to your trial account, but no limit on the number of projects you can create.
Sign Up and Create a Trial Account
Sign up for a BIM Collaborate Pro trial to get started.
Important: Make sure to read the Important Notice on the lower left of the sign-up page.
If you're part of a group that wants to try BIM Collaborate Pro, designate one person to sign up as the account owner.
The account owner:
- Creates your account site.
- Creates a project.
- Invites other users to the project in Project Admin.
- Enables Design Collaboration (Project Admin > Services > Overview).
- Creates a team with Design Collaboration.
- Adds the invited users to the newly created team.
Note: When other users are added to a project team, their user IDs are automatically added to the program trial.

Existing Trials
Users can sign up for one trial of BIM Collaborate Pro at a time.
As you can only have one trial active at a time, if you wish to continue trying BIM Collaborate Pro you will need to download the data from your current trial before it expires.
To start another trial after your current trial expires, you will need to sign up for a new trial using the sign-up form. Once your new trial is set up, you can upload your data to the new trial.
Convert to a Paid Subscription
If you’d like to convert your trial account to a paid subscription, you should talk to a channel partner five days before your trial expires to ensure no loss of access.
- To locate an authorized Autodesk partner, go to the Partner Locator.
- To convert your program trial account, you’ll need your Account ID, which is in Account Admin > Settings > View Account ID in the bottom left corner.
