Forma
Autodesk Forma is a cloud-based platform for professionals in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry to create, visualize, and optimize building designs. It enhances collaboration, streamlines workflows, and improves decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. Users can seamlessly switch between Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for data management and construction tools, and Forma for pre-design and schematic design, ensuring fluidity across workflows. Centralized user management provides consistent permissions across ACC and Forma for greater control. With Forma Board, architects, engineers, general contractors, owners and other stakeholders can add files from Autodesk Docs and visualize your design process across the AECO lifecycle.

- Conceptual design capabilities: Create and visualize conceptual designs of buildings and urban environments with tools for sketching, modeling, and experimenting with design ideas. Conduct initial massing studies to assess compliance with requirements and inform your design process.

Get Started with Forma
Reach out to your Project admin to enable Forma module for the project. Then you will be able to navigate to Forma from the sidebar.
To activate the Forma module, account administrators invite members to Forma module from the Project member overview in ACC. Forma users will be able to create their Forma sites directly in ACC projects without using Forma hubs and projects.
When you navigate to Forma, you will land on the Project Overview page where you can start creating and collaborating on geolocated sites.
