Notifications in the Data Transition Tool

You can receive notifications from the Data Transition Tool in Autodesk Construction Cloud (Autodesk Construction Cloud). There are two types of email notifications:

• Default – Receive an email each time a transition is completed.
• Project transition statuses – Receive emails at a set frequency with the status of your transitioning projects.

You can turn off default notifications to reduce email volume. To get regular updates without checking the tool, set a frequency for project transition statuses. This sends a digest email with the status of the projects you selected for transition.

Customize email frequency settings

1. In the top-right corner, select Settings > Notifications.
2. Use the Frequency drop-down list to choose how often you receive notifications:
   • Instantly – Sent immediately when a transition is completed (only for default notifications).
   • 12 Hours – Email sent every 12 hours (only for project transition statuses).
   • Daily – Email sent once per day (only for project transition statuses).
   • Never – No notification emails sent.

Notification types — details

• Default (per-project completion)

  • Sent when a project finishes transitioning (status: Transitioned, Partially transitioned, or Failed).
  • Includes: project name, source system, final status, timestamp (project timezone), and a link to the Summary Report in Autodesk Docs.

• Digest (project transition statuses)

  • Aggregated status updates for projects you selected.
  • Includes: list of projects with current status, counts of completed or failed modules, any new errors, and links to each project's Summary Report.
  • Frequency respects the Frequency setting in Notifications.
