Analyze Project and Subcontractor Safety

Safety is a primary concern in the construction industry. The machine learning capabilities in Construction IQ can be used with partner integrations like Smartvid.io to identify safety risks. This data can be sorted and viewed by location, and help project managers gain valuable insights into subcontractor safety practices, target recurring hazards, and prioritize projects or business units that need particular attention. Analyzing safety data is also useful for building a positive safety culture by highlighting best practices and safe working procedures.

A Subcontractor Safety Risk grid, which shows the number and type of safety issues assigned to each subcontractor over a specified length of time.

The grid provides a visual overview of the subcontractors with the most safety issues assigned to them, and the severity of the issues. This can help project managers to focus on the areas that need most attention.
Positive Observations and Safety Observations cards, which show the number of observations listed for each subcontractor over a specified length of time.
Safety Risk Factors, which shows the contributing factors to a project's daily safety risk rating.

Tip: Both the Subcontractor Safety Risk grid and the observation cards could be used inversely as safety leaderboards, highlighting those subcontractors with the least safety-related issues and most positive safety practices.
