Once the Users folder has been created in the database location, you should be able to launch the Configure Users application. You can access (launch) the Configure Users application in the following ways:
- Create a desktop shortcut
- Double-click mapuser.exe
- Select Configure User from the Start menu
Creating a desktop shortcut
The easiest way to access the Configure User application is to create a desktop shortcut that launches it. To do this:
- In Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder where the Autodesk Fabrication product (CADmep, ESTmep, or CAMduct) is installed. This is typically C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Fabrication <version>\<Autodesk Fabrication product>.
- Right-click mapuser.exe and select Send to
Desktop (create shortcut).
The desktop shortcut is created. Double-click the shortcut to launch the Configure User application.
Double-click mapuser.exe
- In Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder where the Autodesk Fabrication product (CADmep, ESTmep, or CAMduct) is installed. This is typically C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Fabrication <version>\<Autodesk Fabrication product>.
- Double-click mapuser.exe to launch theConfigure User application.
Select Configure User from Start menu
- Click the Start button

Configure Users.
Once launched, a login dialog is displayed, prompting for a username and password.
Type in the following default User name and password, and then click OK. Passwords are case sensitive.
- User: administrator
- Password: admin
