Display Drawing Tooltips

To display drawing (drafting) tooltips when mouse-hovering over fabrication parts (CADmep items) within a drawing, do the following.

• Do NOT start AutoCAD by double left-clicking on a drawing. Drawing tooltips will not display on CADmep items using this method of starting the application

• If the Attacher arrow is present on an item within the drawing, try removing the Attacher arrow.
• The following AutoCAD options must be selected to allow the drawing tooltip information to be displayed on CADmep items:
  1. Type OPTIONS at the command line.
  2. Click the Drafting tab.
  3. In the AutoSnap Settings section, make sure the Display AutoSnap tooltip option is selected.
  4. Click the User Preference tab.
  5. In the Hyperlink section, make sure the Display hyperlink cursor, tooltip, and short cut menu option is selected.
  6. Click Apply and then click OK.

     The drawing tooltips should now display on CADmep items.
