The DETECT command identifies collisions between Fabrication CADmep items and non-CADmep objects such as AutoCAD solids, extruded lines and 3D faces. Use this command to select specific items to inspect for clashes. When you use this command, items in the model that are clashing are isolated and remain visible (displayed), and items that are not clashing are invisible (hidden or not displayed).
To use the DETECT command:
Items in the model that are clashing remain isolated (visible or displayed), and items that are not clashing are invisible (hidden or not displayed). After resolving clashes, use the SHOWALL command to restore visibility of the items that were not displaying.
