Design Line Collision Checks

Collision checks can be performed in real-time on Design Lines.

To enable the Design Line Collision Check feature:

1. Click Database Takeoff CAD Settings Collision Checks tab.
2. Enable the Design Line Collision Checks option, and disable to Show Clash in Viewer option.
3. Click OK to save changes on the Collision Checks tab, then close the Database dialog.

   With this feature enabled, the clash indicators immediately display in the model when clashes are detected, similar to the example shown below.

   

4. After resolving any clashes, use the CHECK command again to clear (remove) the clash indicator(s) in the model.
