In the 3D Viewer, the Color By drop-down menu, located in the Draw Style toolbar, lets you display the model in predefined color schemes.

The following Color By display options are available:
Color By Legend
The Color By legend displays by default and can be moved. It shows percent (%) used for each category and the color assigned.
Click the control in the top-right corner to collapse or expand the display of the Colour By Legend.
To use the Color By options, make sure the Draw Style toolbar is visible in the 3D Viewer\Fab Viewer, and make sure the following color options have been pre-defined in the database:
Service: When this Color By option is selected, items in the 3D Viewer\Fab Viewer display in the Layer Color specified for each Service Type in the Services Database (Setup Services Services Service Types Layer Color).
Status: When this Color By option is selected, items in the 3D Viewer\Fab Viewer display in the color specified in the Item Statuses Database.
Section: When this Color By option is selected, items in the 3D Viewer\Fab Viewer display in the color specified in the Sections Database.
Material: When this Color By option is selected, items in the 3D Viewer\Fab Viewer display in the color specified in the Material Properties in the Material Database.
Takeoff: When this Color By option is selected, items in the 3D Viewer\Fab Viewer display in the color specified in the 3D Viewer Settings in the Colors Database.
Spool: When this Color By option is selected, items in the 3D Viewer\Fab Viewer display in the color specified in the Define/Create Spool(s) Database.
Job Color: When this Color By option is selected, items in the 3D Viewer\Fab Viewer display in the color specified in the Job Information dialog. This is normally setup at the creation of a job.
