Keep Your Software Current

Before you get started using the Autodesk Fabrication products, make sure that your Autodesk software is up to date with the latest service packs, features, and other updates from Autodesk.

To keep your versions of Autodesk Fabrication software (CADmep, ESTmep and CAMduct) up to date, use the Autodesk® Application Manager.

The Autodesk Application Manager is a cloud-centric software delivery solution that includes a desktop client component that is packaged and automatically installs with all Microsoft Windows®-based Autodesk 2015 (or later) products or suites. Application Manager actively keeps you informed of important product updates, by sending alerts to your desktop about new Service Packs and other assets (such as Product Extensions for Subscription Customers) as they become available-eliminating the need to independently search for updates from other sources.

To use Application Manager, follow this procedure:

  1. Launch the Application Manager by doing one of the following:
    • clicking the application icon located in your System Tray or Task Bar
    • click the Start button All Programs Autodesk Autodesk Application Manager Autodesk Application Manager.
  2. Select the updates to install, and click Install.
  3. To learn more about how to use the Application Manager, click the Help button located in the upper right corner of the Application Manager window.
