The Autodesk Fabrication CAMduct Components is an additional software application that can be automatically installed when Autodesk Fabrication CAMduct is installed.
CAMduct Components enables additional operators to manage the production line, increasing productivity and flexibility on the shop floor. This application shares the Fabrication CAMduct libraries and databases, but without the ability to nest or interface with controllers and machines. Jobs created in CAMduct Components share directly with your Fabrication CAMduct station and the next stage of the manufacturing process.
For example, developments are exported as DXF files so they can be used in 3rd party nesting software. Jobs can also be saved (as a MAJ) and then opened in CAMduct for nesting and NC work.
