Command.beginStep Method

Description

Begin a transacted step within the command's transaction. If the all of the command inputs are valid, this will trigger the execute event for the current step.

Syntax

"command_var" is a variable referencing a Command object.
# Uses no optional arguments.
returnValue = command_var.beginStep()

# Uses optional arguments.
returnValue = command_var.beginStep(makeExistingStepNonUndoable)
"command_var" is a variable referencing a Command object.

boolean Returns true if beginning the step was successful.

This is an optional argument whose default value is False.
