Description

Switches the configuration for this occurrence to the specified row, applying custom values that override specific column values and optional metadata such as name, part number, and description. Use the isConfiguration property to determine if this occurrence references a configuration.

Syntax

"occurrence_var" is a variable referencing an Occurrence object.

returnValue = occurrence_var.switchToCustomConfiguration(newRow, customValues)
"occurrence_var" is a variable referencing an Occurrence object.

boolean Returns true if the switch was successful.

Parameters

Name Type Description
newRow ConfigurationRow The row to switch to. This row must be from the same ConfigurationTopTable as the current row. You can access the table from the parent design.
customValues CustomConfigurationValues A CustomConfigurationValues object providing per-column value overrides (keyed by column ID) and optional metadata (name, part number, description).
