Defined in namespace "adsk::drawing" and the header file is <Drawing/Sketch/Lines.h>

Description

Creates a new line (a connected chain of straight segments) on the sheet from the given ordered vertices.

Syntax

"lines_var" is a variable referencing a Lines object.

returnValue = lines_var.add(points)
"lines_var" is a variable referencing a Lines object.

"lines_var" is a variable referencing a Lines object.

returnValue = lines_var.add(points);

Return Value

Type Description
Line Returns the newly created Line, or null if the operation failed.

Parameters

Name Type Description
points Point2D[] The ordered vertices of the line. At least two points are required; supplying fewer than two causes the operation to fail. Coordinates are in drawing length units (millimeters when the drawing standard includes ISO; inches when the standard is ASME without ISO). Build each point with core.Point2D.create(x, y).
