Circles.addByCenterRadius Method

Description

Creates a new circle in the sketch defined by a center point and a radius. Mirrors the Center Radius Circle drawing command.

Syntax

"circles_var" is a variable referencing a Circles object.

returnValue = circles_var.addByCenterRadius(centerPoint, radius)
"circles_var" is a variable referencing a Circles object.

Return Value

Type Description
Circle Returns the newly created Circle, or null if the operation failed.

Parameters

Name Type Description
centerPoint Point2D The center point of the circle. Coordinates are in drawing length units (millimeters when the drawing standard includes ISO; inches when the standard is ASME without ISO). Build the point with core.Point2D.create(x, y).
radius double The radius of the circle in drawing length units. Must be greater than zero.
