Rectangles.addTwoPointRectangle Method

Description

Creates a new two-point rectangle in the sketch, defined by two diagonally opposite corner points. Mirrors the 2-Point Rectangle drawing command.

Syntax

"rectangles_var" is a variable referencing a Rectangles object.

returnValue = rectangles_var.addTwoPointRectangle(pointOne, pointTwo)
"rectangles_var" is a variable referencing a Rectangles object.

Return Value

Type Description
Rectangle Returns the newly created Rectangle, or null if the operation failed.

Parameters

Name Type Description
pointOne Point2D The first corner of the rectangle. Coordinates are in drawing length units (millimeters when the drawing standard includes ISO; inches when the standard is ASME without ISO). Build the point with core.Point2D.create(x, y).
pointTwo Point2D The diagonally opposite corner of the rectangle. Must differ from pointOne in both X and Y (non-zero width and height).
