ConstantRadiusFilletEdgeSet.edges Property

Parent Object: ConstantRadiusFilletEdgeSet
Defined in namespace "adsk::fusion" and the header file is <Fusion/Features/ConstantRadiusFilletEdgeSet.h>

Description

Gets and sets an ObjectCollection containing the BRepEdge, BRepFace, and Feature that are filleted. If the isTangentChain argument is true additional edges or faces may also get filleted if they are tangentially connected to any of the input edges or faces.

To use this property, you need to position the timeline marker to immediately before this feature. This can be accomplished using the following code: thisFeature.timelineObject.rollTo(True)

Syntax

Samples

Name Description
Fillet Feature Edit API Sample

Demonstrates editing a fillet feature.
To successfully run this sample you can use this file or create a new model with the described fillet feature.

  1. Create a new model and add a block feature.
  2. Create a single fillet feature that defines three different fillets. The fillets need to be created in a way where they don't interact with one another. The easiest way is to create the fillets only on the vertical edges of the box.
    1. Create a constant radius fillet with a radius that is about 1/4 the size of the box.
    2. Create a chord length fillet whose radius is also about 1/4 the size of the box.
    3. Create a variable radius fillet with one intermediate radius and the radii are about 1/4 the size of the box and less.
Running the sample script will modify various settings of each fillet and change the edge each fillet is applied to.
