Description

Sets this draft to define a parting line type of draft where the parting line moves in and out from the part to create the specified draft angle of the faces that connect to the parting line.

Syntax

"draftFeatureInput_var" is a variable referencing a DraftFeatureInput object.

boolean Returns true if setting the draft type was successful.

Parameters

Name Type Description
partingLineCurves Base[] An array that contains a combination of sketch curves and BRepEdge objects to define the parting line.
isChained boolean If true, curves that are connected to any of the input parting line curves will also be included in the parting line.
direction MovingPartingLineDirections Specifies how the angle is calculated to determine how the parting line is moved.
angle ValueInput The angle of the draft. If either of the setSingleAngle or setTwoAngles methods were used, the angles defined are ignored and this angle is used when creating the feature.
fixedEdges BRepEdge[] An array containing the edges that should not deform when the parting line moves. The array can be empty in the case where no fixed edges are used.
