Provides access to all of the input needed when inserting edges on a form feature.
| Name | Description |
| classType |
Static function that all classes support that returns the type of the class as a string. The returned string matches the string returned by the objectType property. For example if you have a reference to an object and you want to check if it's a SketchLine you can use myObject.objectType == fusion.SketchLine.classType(). |
| create |
Creates a FormInsertEdgeInput object used to define the input required to insert edges on a form feature. Additional settings can be defined using the returned FormInsertEdgeInput object. |
| Name | Description |
| distance | Gets and sets the distance parameter controlling the insert location along the selected edges. Valid values are in the range -1 to 1. |
| edges | Gets and sets the T-Spline edges to insert new edges on. All edges must be on the same T-Spline body and part of the same edge loop. |
| insertionMode | Gets and sets the insertion mode. Defaults to SimpleFormEdgeInsertionMode. |
| insertionSide | Gets and sets which side or sides of the selected edges new edges are inserted on. Defaults to SingleFormEdgeInsertionSide. |
| isObjectSnap | Gets and sets whether object snap is used when inserting edges. Defaults to false. |
| isValid | Indicates if this object is still valid, i.e. hasn't been deleted or some other action done to invalidate the reference. |
| objectType | This property is supported by all objects in the API and returns a string that contains the full name (namespace::objecttype) describing the type of the object. It's often useful to use this in combination with the classType method to see if an object is a certain type. For example: if obj.objectType == adsk.core.Point3D.classType(): |
| offset | Gets and sets the object snap offset distance. This is only used when isObjectSnap is true. Defaults to 0. |
