This class defines the methods and properties that pertain to the definition of a hem feature.
| Name | Description |
| classType |
Static function that all classes support that returns the type of the class as a string. The returned string matches the string returned by the objectType property. For example if you have a reference to an object and you want to check if it's a SketchLine you can use myObject.objectType == fusion.SketchLine.classType(). |
| setDoubleHem |
Sets the hem input with the values to be used in order to create a double hem feature. |
| setFlatHem |
Sets the hem input with the values to be used in order to create a flat hem feature. |
| setOpenHem |
Sets the hem input with the values to be used in order to create an open hem feature. |
| setRolledHem |
Sets the hem input with the values to be used in order to create a rolled hem feature. |
| setRopeHem |
Sets the hem input with the values to be used in order to create a rope hem feature. |
| setTeardropHem |
Sets the hem input with the values to be used in order to create a teardrop hem feature. |
| Name | Description |
| bendRadiusOverride | Bend-radius override for this hem input. Never null; check isOverridden to see if active. Only applicable to hem types with discrete bends (Flat, Open, Double). Activating this override on a curl-type hem (Rolled, Rope, Teardrop) is not supported — those hems use their own radius parameter to define the curl. |
| bendReliefOverride | Bend-relief override for this hem input. Never null; check isOverridden to see if active. Only applicable to hem types with discrete bends that meet a flat face (Open, Double). Activating this override on other hem types is not supported. |
| isValid | Indicates if this object is still valid, i.e. hasn't been deleted or some other action done to invalidate the reference. |
| objectType | This property is supported by all objects in the API and returns a string that contains the full name (namespace::objecttype) describing the type of the object. It's often useful to use this in combination with the classType method to see if an object is a certain type. For example: if obj.objectType == adsk.core.Point3D.classType(): |
| threeBendCornerOverride | Three-bend corner relief override for this hem input. Never null; check isOverridden to see if active. Corner relief applies to flange-to-flange corners and is not meaningful for hem geometry. Activating this override on any hem type is not supported. |
| twoBendCornerOverride | Two-bend corner relief override for this hem input. Never null; check isOverridden to see if active. Corner relief applies to flange-to-flange corners and is not meaningful for hem geometry. Activating this override on any hem type is not supported. |

| Hem Feature Sample | Demonstrates creating a new sheet metal hem feature. Before running: Open or create a sheet metal design in the DESIGN workspace, unless the script builds its own sheet metal body. |
