IsoCurveAnalysisInput Object

Derived from: Base Object
Defined in namespace "adsk::fusion" and the header file is <Fusion/Fusion/IsoCurveAnalysisInput.h>

Description

Provides access to all of the settings available when creating an Iso Curve analysis. This object is the API equivalent of the command dialog that contains the inputs to create an Iso Curve analysis. Use this object to define the settings you need and then pass this into the add method to create the analysis.

Methods

Name Description
classType

Static function that all classes support that returns the type of the class as a string. The returned string matches the string returned by the objectType property. For example if you have a reference to an object and you want to check if it's a SketchLine you can use myObject.objectType == fusion.SketchLine.classType().

Properties

Name Description
curvatureCombsDensity A property that gets and sets the density of the curvature combs. Valid values are from 2 to 100. This property defaults to 50 when the input is created.
curvatureCombsScale A property that gets and sets the scale of the curvature combs. Valid values are greater than or equal to 0. This property defaults to 10 when the input is created.
inputEntities A property that gets and sets the BRepBody and/or BRepFace objects that the analysis will be applied to.
isCurvatureCombsShown A property that gets and sets if curvature combs are displayed along the isocurve lines. This property defaults to false when the input is created.
isValid Indicates if this object is still valid, i.e. hasn't been deleted or some other action done to invalidate the reference.
objectType This property is supported by all objects in the API and returns a string that contains the full name (namespace::objecttype) describing the type of the object.

It's often useful to use this in combination with the classType method to see if an object is a certain type. For example: if obj.objectType == adsk.core.Point3D.classType():
quantity A property that gets and sets the number of isocurve lines to display in each direction. Valid values are from 1 to 20. This property defaults to 5 when the input is created.
uvDirection A property that gets and sets which isocurve directions are displayed. This property defaults to BothIsoCurveUVDirection when the input is created.
