Description

Creates a LoftedFlangeFeatureInput object. Use properties on this object to define the settings for a lofted flange and then use the add method, passing in the LoftedFlangeFeatureInput object to create the lofted flange feature.

Syntax

"loftedFlangeFeatures_var" is a variable referencing a LoftedFlangeFeatures object.

returnValue = loftedFlangeFeatures_var.createInput(profiles)
"loftedFlangeFeatures_var" is a variable referencing a LoftedFlangeFeatures object.

Type Description
LoftedFlangeFeatureInput Returns the newly created LoftedFlangeFeatureInput object or null if the creation failed.

Parameters

Name Type Description
profiles Profile[] An ordered array of exactly two profiles that define the cross-sections of the lofted flange. The profiles are used in the order they appear in the array: the first profile defines the start cross-section and the last profile defines the end cross-section. All profiles must be of the same type: either both open or both closed. Each profile must lie on a separate plane.
