PMILeaderLineNote.setGeometries Method

Parent Object: PMILeaderLineNote

PreviewThis functionality is provided as a preview of intended future API capabilities. You are encouraged to use it and report any problems or suggestions using the Fusion API and Scripts forum.

Because this is a preview of future functionality, there is the possibility that it will change, which will possibly break any existing programs that use this functionality. Because of that, you should never deliver any programs that use any preview capabilities. For a distributed program, you should wait until it has moved from preview to released state.

Defined in namespace "adsk::fusion" and the header file is <Fusion/PMI/PMILeaderLineNote.h>

Description

Sets the geometric entities to which the Note PMI is associated.

These can be BRepFace, BRepEdge, or BRepVertex objects. For BRepEdge objects, only linear, circular and elliptical edges are supported. The note will be positioned relative to the first entity (index 0) and will maintain its association with all entity geometries.

Index 0 is the annotated geometry used for annotation plane, target point, and leader line placement. Additional entries are tracked geometry references.

Setting the geometries will set a default annotation plane and target point based on the first geometry. Use referencedEntities to get the currently associated geometries. Native objects will be used when setting the geometries.

Syntax

"pMILeaderLineNote_var" is a variable referencing a PMILeaderLineNote object.

returnValue = pMILeaderLineNote_var.setGeometries(geometries)
